I can’t even get all of the toys and clothes Sawyer got for Christmas into the frame of the picture so this is just some of the stuff he got for his first Christmas. He is too young to completely understand the whole opening presents idea, but he did rip at the paper, of course he wanted to put it into his mouth instead of see what was in the wrapping paper. His favorite toys at this point seem to be anything he can pound on like a drum. He is definitely a little boy.
Sawyer got dressed up for his first Christmas. We had some friends and family over for dinner on Christmas Eve. He was by far the best gift anyone could have received for Christmas.
We took Sawyer for his 4 month doctor appointment. He is healthy and he is getting longer, his head is growing. He has gained weight, but not as much as he should. He’s only in the 5% percentile of weight. So the Doctor suggested adding baby food to his eating routine. The rice cereal kind, this is a picture of him having his first meal. Despite the mess that this picture looks like, he did eat alot of it. So hopefully this in combination with his bottle feedings will help him gain some weight. Doctor wasn’t concerned, but did want to see him again in 1 month instead of 2.
Sawyer’s first Halloween costume, it’s a duck, although people guessed chicken more than once.
It’s tough to do, we have to snap the picture just as he is smiling, we caught this one after 3 tries.
