Well it has been a great year with Sawyer. He started preschool this year, the teachers tell us he is very smart, he can do basic addition and subtraction, knows all his ABCs, and speaks very clearly. He is a fun loving child with loads of energy, he loves to play, is extremely playful and nice to other children. Some of his favorite things this year: trains, the playground, Curious George is probably his favorite show. He continues to go to feeding therapy biweekly now, he has shown tremendous improvement. We took Sawyer for a winter vacation up to Durango, He loves playing in the snow. We took a sleigh ride pulled by horses, went sledding, and played in the snow.

We had a fun Halloween, the whole family dressed up as Monsters characters. Sawyer was a Sully, Kim was a Sully and Tom was Mike. We couldn’t find a boo costume, hence the 2 Sully’s.

We got the results of Sawyer’s allergy test. He has a mild allergy to yeast and potatoes. Doctor doesn’t feel that it is the reason for his eating challenges. She is treating him more for the acid reflux and we are continuing with the feeding therapy. He seems to be doing a little better, gained a little weight in the past month. Overall, he is a happy and healthy baby boy. It was about this time 2 years ago when we got the call and met our special friend who changed our lives. Thank you.

Sawyer is doing well, developmentally he is right on track with everything except his eating. We went to have a endoscopy and the GI doctor found that he has a bit of acid reflux and a food allergy and she believes that is what is causing some of his challenges in swallowing food. He is going to a feeding therapist to learn to chew his food up smaller and will be seeing an allegist to determine what he is allergic to. Overall, he is a happy, healthy little boy.
